AS A SONGWRITER: A BMI award winning songwriter, Kristy's had singles with artists on MCA, Giant, Curb & Universal Records including 2 Grammy Winning artists. She is a member of BMI’s Millionaire Club with “Take It Back” (recorded by Reba McEntire) logging over 2,000,000 performances to date.  

AS AN ARTIST: Her song, “Little Did She Know (She’d Kissed A Hero)” thrust her in the national spotlight when her work tape found its way to radio and quickly became the #1 most requested song on the largest radio stations in New York and other major markets in the fall of 2001. Kristy’s been featured on nationally syndicated entertainment shows, Xtra Entertainment, Inside Edition, NPR, as well as the CBS Early Morning Show and NBC's Life Moments.

AS AN ACTIVIST: In 2013, Kristy founded Triad Musicians Matter, a 501c3 non profit corporation that gives financial and supportive aid to struggling musicians in the Triad area of North Carolina.  In 2022, she extended its mission to include The Guitar Resettlement Project where she gifts donated guitars to Afghan and other refugees who have resettled in the Triad area of North Carolina.
